Case Description
in Dec of '07 i had multiple fillings (about 12-16 mercury amalgams) in a mouth that previously had none I would like to have them all removed in the safest way possible for health reasons

Removal of that many silver fillings to replace them with tooth colored materials is certainly possible but it is extremely important that this be done SAFELY.It is important to use a shield in order to prevent amalgam from being swallowed and it is also very important to make sure to use high and slow speed suction simultaneously. Replacing silver fillings with tooth colored fillings really depends on the size and location of the existing silver fillings. The exam and x-rays will be complimentary in our office. The typical fee for replacing silver fillings is 200.00 but with that number of fillings, we can always talk. I will be able to talk more intelligently with a set of x-rays.
