When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
  • Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
  • Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description, special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
  • Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
  • Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors. Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Cost Estimate: $0-280.00
Hello,

Many of my patients have been in the same scenario due to their enrollment in school. An abscess is a serious condition that should be treated promptly. I will offer you a complimentary consultation (as I have for many NYU, City Tech ..etc grads& in the past) to give you an idea of what you will need dentally. If you have a current Full set of X-rays or an X-ray called a panorex, please bring them along with you. Looking forward to meeting you and addressing your concerns.

Cost Estimate: $1600 to 2000 per tooth for rct/post/crown
First of all, relax- the treatment can be done very comfortably for you.

It is good that you are ready to get these teeth treated- waiting too long may mean losing those teeth, and I''''m sure you do NOT want that. If the teeth are abscessed, they will need to have root canal therapy. After that, they will need posts and crowns, in all likelihood. Again, these treatments can be done painlessly, I assure you.

Costs depend on what type of posts you need, and also on what type of crown you decide on. For example, some crowns are more esthetic and natural looking than other crowns, but they may cost a bit more due to added laboratory costs. With that said, costs will be in the range of $1600 to $2000 per tooth, which includes root canal/post and core/crown for each tooth. No matter what you decide on, it is always best to save your natural teeth, so don''''t wait too long to have this done.

Please feel free to call us at 718-429-7744 to arrange a free consultation. Or, email us at bestcarefd@gmail.com.

Best of Luck,

Dr. D. Gupta, DDS

The first thing you need to do is to make a commitment to take care of your health. Any infection in your body must be treated correctly. The thing to do is make an appointment to see what is wrong and the options of treatment you will have. If you are interested, contact my office and I will gladly take the time to go over your case with you in person, no obligation.

Cost Estimate: $$5-7K
i just received your email. i''''ll have to preface that im going by only what your telling me and not by a clinical evaluation. treatment recommendations can change depending upon how advanced your case is. the most important thing to do now is to get the infection under control. this will most likely be done with root canal therapy.

unless the teeth are unrestorable. if they are restorable then you will most likely need posts and crowns after the infection is cleared up. i would suggest coming in for a consultation to discuss further.

in all fairness its hard to determine the cost involved. without records. ill provide some sort of estimate if it is straightforward.

I would say that you need a consult and new xrays. That cost should run around $200.
