Case Description
Hi My dad who is 77 years old is in a lot of pain and he is a man that doesn't cry. His eyes are welled up with tears. He is afraid to go to the dentist because he has no insurance. I am trying to find a dentist that will be accomodating to his financial needs. He just recently had an auto accident and the bills from that are coming in every day.
He does not take care of his mouth. I believe he has some sort of bridge in his mouth but he really needs a good work up in his mouth. He once had a heart valve problem from an infection in his mouth when he was 30 years old. I am willing to call a good dentist immediately and take him asap. Please help!!

There is no reason for dealing with this kind of pain knowing well that it can affect his heart again as in the past.Have him come in for a consultation. There is no charge for consults. If your dad is in that much pain he should immediately go to a nearby hospital that has a dental clinic. If he wants to schedule a consult I will be happy to go over his restorative options and try to meet your financial concerns. Thank you,Dr. Sclafani

There are several options to getting your father out of pain. The first step is always to identify the source of pain, to do this we would like to invite your father in for free consultation where we can identify the problem and list of various solutions through treatment plans.
