I had a sloppy and difficult implant done on my back molar. Each time I saw a new dentist, my tooth seemed to get in even worse shape. I was really near hysteria. Then luckily someone referred me to Dr. Lim and said he did an honest and straight up job.

So what took one dentist 2 years to screw up, Dr. Lim was able to get the crown to work and it only took 3 short sessions. This is the first time I can chew on this damn tooth in 2 years--heavens to betsy?!

His fees are a bit on the high side for me, but you know what, I learned the hard way that there are certain things you can't go cheap with, especially your health.

What should have cost me $3500 if I had done it with the right dentist ended up costing me 2 years of quality of life and more than double the price due to two years of screws up.

I had 2 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Lim about 48 hours ago. Needless to say, I was pretty scared of the procedure. Like all of the other reviews (accurately) state, Dr. Lim is very skilled and has a very calm demeanor that is quite disarming. The teeth were removed using local anesthetic and was relatively pain-free. One of the teeth was pretty impacted and took a while but Dr. Lim did an excellent job of removing the tooth.

I've also had a filling replaced by Dr. Lim which was a piece of cake (20 min. in and out) and he actually charged me less than they had originally quoted me.

Dr. Lim and his staff provided the best dental experience that I've had to date. That coupled with his honesty and integrity will keep me going back and recommending him to anyone that I know.

I've been going to Dr. Lim's office for 2 years already for general cleaning and checkup. They very nice facilities and they are usually on time. You make an appointment for 2:30 and you'll usually be seen by 2:30, not 4pm like many other dentists.

They take xrays each time I go. Then a dental hygienist does a very thorough job cleaning (it must last up to 1/2 hour). After the cleaning, the doctor comes in to check your teeth and talk to you about concerns or procedures that needs to be done.

I'm so glad I found a good dentist.

I had a root canal on my upper back tooth by Dr. Hahn. She explained things thoroughly and was very gentle. I did not feel any pain at all and I was able to go back to work right away. I did not like the piece of rubber they use to cover your mouth, but overall it was a surprisingly easy, not entirely unpleasant experience.

Amazing installations and great staff. I went for a cleaning, and although that may sound a very simple thing to do, I had a couple of bad experiences in NY. My hyginiest was Sonya, she was gentle and very thorough: I have these very stubborn stains on my teeth and she was patient and very attentive, and got rid of most of them. I'll definitely come back.

After visiting many dentist in NYC and enduring many a scary offices and hygenists, trying to find a 'good' one, I happened to find Dr. Lim's office searching the net. So, I decided to give him a try. I have to say he has been the best dentist I've ever been to -- bar-none.

Patient, sensitive to my sensitive teeth during procedures and cleanings, and always upfront about costs and insurance coverage.

The best cleaning I've ever had, and I can't wait to go back for the next one in 6 months. Great new office, can't wait until the AppleTV is working.....

This is the only dentist I keep going back for. I didn't have any teeth problems. I just went for a teeth cleaning. The dental hygienist there did a really long and careful cleaning. My teeth were so white afterwards. The other dentists I went to before only did a quick wax it seemed when I asked for a cleaning.

After the cleaning, the dentist came in and checked my teeth and just talked to me about what was wrong. Wait time is very minimal. They really schedule patients for the correct time instead of overbooking like so many other doctors. Will definitely continue going.

Dr. Lim is an execellent dentist. He provided me with a accurate diagnosis of the pain I felt with jaw. It was an abscessed wisdom tooth which needed removing. His team used the technique known as Waterlase to assist in extracting the problem tooth and I didn't require novocaine to numb the area. After the tooth was removed, I received quality followup care.

The cost was v. reasonable as the practice accepted my insurance which saved me a lot. From others I've heard he was one of the least expensive, but must tech. saavy dentists in NYC.

The staff was courteous and helpful in dealing with the paperwork.

I could not be happier as opposed to a negative experience I had with a previous dentist.

I have always had one very crooked front tooth. As an adult, I didn't want to get showy brace and invisilign would have taken at least 2 year because my tooth was severely rotated.

Dr Lim came up with a great solution using veneers to create the appearance of straight teeth. I have a great smile now without having to wait years and all my friends who had braces are amazed with the results. Dr Lim is an artist who pays attention to the smallest details that even I would not think of. He's firm when he needs to be and he's all about what's best for his patients.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lim for cosmetic dentistry, he is by far the best of the best.

Dr Lim is an ARTIST!!! There is a stark difference between Dr. Lim and any of the rest (7) dentists I have seen. Basically he had fixed all of the problems and many of which were a result of innapropriate treatments, that I had received in the past. Not only is my (entire) mouth healthy and balanced, I also feel the beauty of my smile is totally restored! Where do I start, the office attmosphere is clean, professional and pleasant. Julie the receptionist worked out any of my concerns, and was extremely accomodating since I had a very tight time limit for all of the work. Melissa, the dental assistant is so knowlegable and makes the entire experience better, she is ready and with you. All of the little things which make a big difference. I had many differnt procedures, front crowns, caps, wisdom tooth removal, porcelain build up, and fixing of an old root canal, many cavities, cleaning and bleaching. If you want to design your own natural and beautiful look, Dr. Lim has the patience, the plan, and the perfect craftsmanship.

I had been terrified to go to the dentist after a bad root canal years ago. I finally bit the bullet and went to Dr. Lim's office. Beautiful office, very nice staff, nice hygenist who cleaned my teeth thoroughly. Dr Lim was very nice and helpful and gentle. I had a cavity filled and a tooth removed.

I have built up a fear of dentistry after years of mediocre care from a variety of dentists. I think Dr. Lim and his staff have cured my fear! Everyone at Dr. Lim's office is great - they take great concern with the patient's comfort, they have all of the high-tech modern equipment, and Dr. Lim is very knowledgeable and skilled. They not only take interest in the patient, but they are careful to recognize and accommodate special needs (in my case, a specific method of injection for the anesthetic, and use of a 'bite block'). I had a filling done and a root canal with a crown, and now I am actually looking forward to fixing a few other dental problems. In addition to Dr. Lim, Julie (who handles the billing) was very helpful in explaining my treatment options, insurance coverage, and costs, and Melissa (his dental assistant) really seems like an expert. It's very comforting to know that everyone there is so competent.

I am glad I found Dr. Lim and recommend his office very highly.
