Finding a GOOD dentist is like trying to find a diamond in the rough...it's nearly impossible. Dr. Oliva truly is a precious gem! I was completely astonished at how professional, clean, and efficient his staff and office were. Unlike most dentists, Dr. Oliva actually CARES about your teeth and about you as a human being by taking as much time as YOU need to ask questions and discuss any concerns. He is fabulous and I recommend him to everyone.

About Hygienist: The hygienist was truly impressive. Unlike most who try to make artificial & pointless conversation with you during the procedure, they were focused and concentrated on getting the job done and done well -- allowing you to relax. They even took the time to discuss any questions I had. The soothing music, dimming of the lights, eye pillow (& option to remove shoes) was an added bonus and really made the visit extra special & enjoyable. A difficult feat accomplished with tremendous care & expertise!

Sonny is a great Dentist. I recommend everyone to him with out a doubt. His new offices are great and the soothing music and eye pads take the "Dentist feeling" out of going for a teeth cleaning. His new Japanese Table - you actually lay on - during cleanings is a real treat !

I am very happy that I discovered Dr. Olvia. I have been to several dentists in the past and I have never encountered such expertise and professionalism from a dentist. Dr. Oliva interacts well with his patients and he did my dental implant and I have to admit I was a nervous wreck at first, but he told me that it would be a simple procedure! His office is very high tech and with relaxing music and his support staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will not go to another dentist, Dr. Oliva is the best!

I was born with the unfortunate scenario of never growing bottom adult frontal teeth. While some of my friends found this to be charming, as I have a very public job, this always caused me great consternation. I met Dr. Oliva through another friend that had used his services and have been so pleased and elated with the top-notch, high caliber, gleaming results. Not only did he fix my baby teeth with first temporary and then veneers, he also finished work that I was having done, not so successfully, at a dental university here in NYC. (Work that is to gruesome here to explain but work that was done superbly)

I should also add, that the aesthetic nature of the implants not only matched the hue of the rest of my natural teeth, they are seamless with my gums and unless you knew of the problem before hand one would never know they are not my own. Additionally, Dr. Oliva has excellent bed-side manner. He explains things in great detail that is easy to understand as he moves through the process of the procedure and what needs to happens in the next visits.

His staff is warm and kind and shows the utmost professionalism as well as enthusiasm and kindness. In particular, his mother that runs the front desk is full of wit

You'll wish you could stay for the weekend! I just returned from the Oliva "Spa"! What a terrific experience -- and, believe me, I have never said that before about a dentist! Super friendly, caring staff, and Dr. O, himself, is, in a word, fabulous. I have a complicated medical condition and for the first time in months I feel like I am being treated by someone who is truly competent and caring. Beyond the serious, though, this place is a lot of fun. Don't be put off by the midtown traffic and the somewhat hard to find front entrance. When the elevator doors open to the 6th floor you feel as if you have been transported to a kinder, gentler place. Zen-like, modernist furnishings, high, high tech equipment, aromatherapy, soft music, this is a better world. The 60 minute cleaning -- on a "dental bed" -- was amazingly gentle. When you stretch out, they cradle your head in a neck pillow, cover your eyes with a cool gel mask, and prop your knees up slightly with a wedge. AND ... all during this hour long process, I had my hands and feet massaged by a masseuse! Heaven. Absolute heaven. Oh, and best of all, my teeth haven't looked this good in years!

This is like a whole different dental experience. Dr. Oliva has a gorgeous office, the staff is super friendly and without giving away all the great surprises...go for a cleaning, it is a whole new level of dentistry. Dr. Oliva also knows his stuff when it comes to all things medical. So you are not sacrifing quality for the most pleasant dental experience possible.

Dr. Oliva is my kind of dentist! Friendly, informative, knowledgeable,caring and very helpful.

He helped me with my root canal. It was the most painful feeling I have ever felt! I consulted with Dr. Oliva and he set me up with an appointment to do a procedure on my teeth. Everything turned out perfectly well. I've had the crown that he and his team set up for over 2 years now and I haven't had any issue so far. If there is one, I know Dr. Oliva will be there to help.

I happen to have pretty good teeth so cleaning is most of the work I have done....but I would say he is one of the best and

close attention to detail including headphones with soothing music and hot towels for a quick cleanup for your hands. Over all probably the best experience you can get at a Denist.

Dr. Oliva and his entire staff are nothing short of phenomenal. While it's an added plus to see a dentist in a spa like environment (soothing music on a personal headset, aromatherapy, warm towels, and a therapeutic eye mask) are just the beginning, even more impressive is how much time Dr. Oliva spends with his patients. He tells one exactly what is going on with his/her teeth, recommends the most economic solutions, and his hygenist does hands down the most thorough cleaning a patient could ask for. Truly, I can't imagine why anyone in New York would see another dentist.

After speaking with him for a bit, it is very apparent that Dr. Oliva really cares that you learn how your teeth work, and what you need to do to care for them properly. I was very impressed by the use of digital photography and digital x-rays to show me almost instantly what was going on with my teeth.

I was very scared to get my teeth cleaned (it had been a while) but the hygenist was excellent. I came back several weeks later to have four fillings done. They look and feel great. My teeth and gums have probably never been in better shape.

The environment here is very zen inspired and relaxing which was an entirely new experience for me at a dentist's office.

I was also impressed that Dr. Oliva was able to immediately tell me how much the fillings would cost. With my insurance coveing 80% of the work, it was much less than I had anticipated to have my teeth checked out and repaired.

I have been suffering with loose dentures forever , and after Dr Oliva explained to me about Implant Overdentures it gave so much hope. I use to put adhesives on my dentures almost every hour it was so frustrating. The procedures was nothing like i imagined it was actually finihed in just an hour and the result was 100 times better. Now i don't have to be worried about my dentures popping out when i go out to dinner with friends., it was amazing. Dr Oliva changed my life and i could not be happier

Dr. Oliva is my kind of perfectionist--better than a "hollywood smile" aka synthetically flawless, he gave me my ideal smile. It had been particularly tricky having my three front teeth veneered and get them to match the rest uncannily. Dr. Oliva managed it masterfully (and without much pain. Having gone through eleven dentists before him, I can say I know from pain). It took several visits, as Dr. Oliva wouldn't settle until he achieved the ideal result, and it's all been worth it. My veneers look so natural, almost like I was born with this smile that I feel absolved of all my dental sins! I vouch for what the others say about the experience with Dr. Oliva being akin to a partnership, and that extends to his staff as well! They always make me feel cared for.

Dr.Oliva and his staff actually care about your dental health and your smile. They will partner up with you to make you feel very comfortable with the procedures and announce step-by-step what they are doing. After you finish one of their "spa-like" treatments (even for simple cleanings), you and your teeth will feel totally relaxed and clean. (That's especially rare for a dentist's office.) I had my first visit with Dr Oliva, and I can tell everybody that this is probably the BEST! dental visit i had EVER!, Yes , he is extremely NICE, very thorough with his explanations, and actually thought me alot of ways to keep my teeth cleaned, Nobody gave me a full hour , EVER, for a hygiene visit, Dr Oliva did. He had alot of ideas that makes alot of sense , the idea of GUM MASSAGE , makes alot of sense, and he even showed me a better way of flossing . Im really HAPPY with my first visit . and looking forward to my next. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
