The Doctor himself exudes safety and "youre in good hands" energy. He greets you with a smile filled with genuineness and a firm handshake, or even a hug! Helped to bridge the gap between the scary dentists of my past and the and gentle doctor that Lupovici is. Dr. Lupovici talked with me through the entire procedure and shared with me systematically what was to come, and what was being done. He followed up that same night personally with a call. I was impressed that it was not from his service but from "the Doctor" himself. He took the time personally to make the connection, to make sure I was o.k.! Dr. John Lupovici is an excellent dentist.

The office is very clean, modern, nice looking. The receptionists are nice.

In terms of insurance coverage - one of the assistants said they don't usually handle the paperwork but that she'll take care of it on exception because I was a referral. She didn't seem as capable as she made herself sound... 3 out of 3 invoices she didn't process it correctly. I never had issues with the insurance company mixing up payments (dental or medical) so I was disappointed on how this was handled - though the assistant insisted it was the insurance company making the mistake. 3 out of 3 seems like a pattern to me..

It was an involved procedure with implants on both sides of my mouth. The Dr put me very much at ease and worked with me on a plan of treatment. The implants were a big job, but I was in great hands as the operations were a great success. I was even able to return to work the aftrenoon after the less invasive surgery.

The office has a genuine family atmosphere and the staff was very helpful with insurance forms and answering questions. (concerned and genial unlike the forced disingenuous friendliness that is so often found in the manhattan medical community)

I highly reccommend Dr John Lupovici for anyone facing dental implants. I hope I never need another one, but if I do I will be returning to him.

Dr. Lupovici explained the risks of the crown lengthening to me and we tried it. Unfortunately it did not work out. Extraction and implant appear to have worked like a charm, on the other hand.

Procedures are remarkably stress and pain free (no small matter after the stress and pain of treatment by my prior dentist). The staff is excellent, the facilities first rate and the billing fair and transparent.

I have been seeing Dr. Lupovici for about a year and a half, and it literally feels like I am going to visit a friend when I go for my appointments. I wish all my doctor appointments were like this.

Also, I think it's important to say that he does not push procedures on you. He suggests things only when it becomes absolutely necessary, and even then, he gives you information and then just lets you think about it.

All I can say is I hope he doesn't retire before I die! Otherwise he may find me on his doorstep begging for dental procedures. And you know what? He'd probably answer the door.

I had the same procedures performed by the other periodontists and this was the first time I wasn't in pain during and after. The whole experience enables me to imagine a future of dental appointments wherein I don't start dreading the appointment weeks in advance or look for reasons to cancel.

The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and personable and the office elegant and immaculate.

I suffered an accident which caused me to lose my 2 front teeth which Dr. Lupovici replaced with implants. Dr. Lupovici's anesthesiologist and assistant were great. During the procedure I did not feel any pain. Dr Lupovici explained to me after care and pain management and even called me that night to make sure I was comfortable.

I delayed this procedure for almost 3 years because I was very afraid of the potential pain involved. Dr Lupovici made the procedure nearly painless and his assistant was very attentive to my feelings and kept me calm and relaxed for the entire procedure.
