Patient Review 1:
We found Dr. Jacobson after a few other local dentists had given us their opinion on our 3 year old son's teeth. For some reason, the previous recommendations that we received did not sit well with us, so we kept looking...until we found Dr. Jacobson. He was the only dentist to take x-rays and do a thorough exam before giving his recommendations. He took the time to sit and explain our son's problem, while at the same time performing magic tricks for our son!! Dr. Jacobson was the only dentist who diagnosed our son's "bottle rot" correctly. He performed the necessary extractions at Mt. Sinai Hospital two weeks later. Our son woke up from the procedure remembering nothing and still loving "Dr. Jake". Two weeks later a beautiful bridge was placed in our son's mouth...you would never know he was missing 4 front teeth. Our son continues to love to visit "Dr. Jake's" office. After our experience...we will never take our children to a different dentist. He is by far the best we have found! He makes the parents comfortable. He makes the kids love him. His staff is very friendly and his office is beautiful. We do not have dental insurance, and we write any check to Dr. Jake happily!Drs. Tracey & Charlie Giordano

Patient Review 3:
After leaving NY (husband's job) we had a MAJOR problem with our 2 yr. old son's teeth. He had baby bottle decay and his front tooth was turning green and chipping. After SEVERAL dentists in MA,UpstateNY,NH (also called dentists in CT, VT) gave us responses like these- "we dont see children until they are 3!" "It will be a couple of months before we can do any work!" "We don't allow parents in the room with the children" "He needs 5 stainless steel crowns and an amalgam filling!" ---- My husband (Queens Native)looks to NYC for the best dr's and found Dr. Jacobson!! We are extremely pleased with the work Dr. Jacobson has performed. We now live near Albany and are SO glad the drive is only 2 1/2 hours to his office! Procedures that other dentists said our son would need and required sedation in their office (because he didn't cooperate and is strong-willed) - Dr. Jacobson corrected the problem with hi-tech tools and required only about 10-15 min of our time and NO SEDATION for our son. Their office staff is very helpful, efficient and we are so pleased that we will continue to make the drive to NYC for our son's dentist! Our only regret is that we would have found Dr. Jacobson sooner! Thank you!

Dr. Jacobson is simly the best. My son had very bad dental experience before we have met dr. J, now he loves going to the dentist. He was very patient, and spent his time explaining to me and my wife how we can help improving the dental health of our child. Great doctor.

Dr Jacobson was a great experience. My daughter is 2years old and she was very scared because she broke her tooth in the bathtub last year. Dr Jacobson told us she did not need a needle and the fracture did not reach the nerve. He explained everthing he was going to do and then five minutes later her tooth was as good as new. Dr J. is a great dentist for kids!!!

Dr Jacobson was great to my kids. The office was very busy and bustling place and clearly the word is out. Dr J. relaxed us with a couple magic tricks and then explained everything he was going to do before he did it. I was nervous but he put us right at ease. When my daughter had a cavity I was shocked but Dr J. fixed it painlessly and without complaint from our four year old. Thank you Dr J!!!!

Patient Review 7:
After 4 "cold turkey" dentist visits when my daughter would not cooperate and would not allow treatments, she developed a real BIG BAD problem. Someone told me that if noone can get her to cooperate then dr. Jacobson would. AND HE DID. Before visit I talked to him and explained that we've already seen 4 dentists before and she did not even open her mouth.Well, to my shoking surprise the whole visit with B. Jacobson went like a carusel ride for my daughter. She was not scared. On opposite, she was smiling and curious and proud of herself. After the visit, she told me she wanted to come back again and that she had loads of fun.The job was done and done very well, she did not have any complains later but told her brothers and sister that she had the best time at the dentist's and made them all jealous. Ah, no need. Of course they all now see dr. Jacobson on the regular basis. and everytime it feels like a holiday for all of us. We LOVE go to dentist b/c our dentist is doctor J.

I visited Dr. Jacobson with my 8 yr old son as an emergency patient and was astounded by the professionalism by both the office staff and the Doctor. I called and recieved a last minute appointment when I told them that my son was in pain. I am terrified of the dentist and now my children dont have to be. I wish Dr. Jacobson took adults.

First time I met Dr Jacobson while lived in NY with my older kid, the treatment was GREAT.Second time I saw him after I moved to California and none of the 5 dentists I saw could treat my 1 year old baby without general anesthesia. I flew to NY since I knew and trusted Dr Jacobson's decision about that.I was relieved when he opened the mouth and said :"I can easily do that".And so he did , very fast and clean job that made my whole trip to NY worth it.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I highly, highly recommend Dr. Jacobson. One of my daughters was absolutely phobic of seeing any dentist (after seeing another pediatric dentist who was impatient, rude and terrible with children). For several years she would become hysterical if we even discussed taking her to the dentist. One visit to Dr. J's office was all it took to completely erase all of her fears. She recently had a cavity filled with the laser and we were amazed at how quick and completely painless it was. Now she actually looks forward to going for her checkup every six months and we're getting ready for her to see the orthodontist as well. My other daughter also loves going there and sees the orthodontist, who BTW, practices in Dr. J's office too. Very convenient! Since orthodontia is not covered by our insurance they set up a very reasonable payment schedule for us over the course of 2 years.The staff is wonderful as well. They are really sweet with the children, explaining what they need to do and keeping them relaxed. Emma, the receptionist, always calls the night before to confirm the appt.There is a Playstation and cartoons in the waiting room and ice pops and toothbrushes are handed out after every visit. A+++++++

DR JACOBSON WAS TERRIFIC. MY CHILD HAD BABY BOTTLE TOOTH DECAY AND WAS VERY SCARED AND ANXIOUS. SINCE HE WAS TOO YOUNG TO TREAT IN THE OFFICE DR JACOBSON RESTORED MY CHILDS SMILE WHILE HE SLEPT. WE DID THE TREATMENT IN ONE VISIT AT MOUNT SINAI HOSPITAL IN NYC.DR JACOBSON IS THE DIRECTOR OF PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY AT MOUNT SINAI MEDICAL CENTER. HE IS ALSO BOARD CERTIFIED AND VERY EXPERIENCED. I WAS AMAZED TO MEET SO MANY OTHER PARENTS WHOSE CHILDREN DR JACOBSON HAD TREATED SUCCESSFULLY THE SAME WAY.YES GENERAL ANESTHESIA WAS SCARY. BUT THE ALTERNATIVES OF DOING NOTHING OR HOLDING MY CHILD WITH RESTRAINTS WERE WORSE. THE BOTTOM LINE WAS WE HAD A GREAT RESULT AND MY CHILD DOESNT REMEMBER ANYTHING ABOUT THE HOSPITAL-SINCERELYVERY SATISFIED MOTHER
