Dr. Edward Gottesman is board certified by the American Board of Periodontology. He complements his private periodontal and implant practice by teaching part time. He maintains a faculty appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology and Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook. His office is located in a town house on the upper east side of Manhattan. It's spacious operatories with high ceilings offer sensual views of a backyard flower garden surrounding a tranquil water fountain.His friendly staff are available to answer questions and assist patients with all their treatment needs.

Dr. Gottesman is a careful listener and diagnoses with the help of up to date dental instrumentarium very exactly. His work is painless and before and during the procedure he communicates very well what he is going to do and why. His staff is friendly and dedicated. He has a way of dealing with his patients, as far as I can tell from my own experience, that makes them feel individuals; his well developed sense of empathy and his fine sense of humor may help him there.
